The child's book "Five Little Penguins Slipping On The Ice" was a fun story to read that had a good moral of when there is danger, there was also risk involved. The other adult penguin was the doctor who instructs the mother to keep the kids at home after they get hurt. This book took place strictly during the daytime hours, no night scenes occurred because kids shouldn't be outside playing at night which is a good moral.
He thought the doctor was mean for telling the penguins they couldn't go outside and play anymore. Also, I thought it was weird that the mom didn't listen to the doctor and still let the other penguins play after one got hurt. I feel as if this book could teach some kids bad habits, especially kids that are little trouble makers. Other than the kids still playing and hurting themselves the book was a cute little kid's book.
Thus, the book was an easy read and had a lot of detail about the five little penguins. Every time a little penguin gets hurt, the mother calls the doctor. The doctor keeps telling the mother to stop the penguins from doing what they are doing so they don't get hurt. The five penguins are always out playing but hurting themselves.
Steve Metzgers, Five Little Penguins Slipping on the Ice, is a spin off of the book, Five Little Monkeys Jumping on a Bed. Five Little Penguins Slipping on the Ice is an adorable childrens story about five penguins who are playing outside during the winter. The doctor then advises the mother to let the penguins go out and play. I even would recommend this book to any adult who would enjoy reading a short, children's story.
These five little penguins are always having fun but one by one they just keep getting hurt. The mother penguin calls the doctor whenever one of the little penguins get hurt. In this book the penguins get hurt and they just stop having fun because the doctor said so.
Five Little Penguins Slipping on the Ice is a really good childrens book. Five Little Penguins Slipping on the Ice is written by Steve Metzger and illustrated by Laura Bryant. The little penguins are slipping on the ice near the house.
As one penguin gets hurt in each activity, the mother penguin calls the doctor for suggestions on what to do. I'm assuming the activities take place around the penguins' home. The colorful pictures and rhyming sentences would catch the young child's attention and keep them interested in the book.
Slowly, one at a time, these little penguins keep getting hurt. Every time one of the little penguins hurts themselves, the mother calls the doctor.
They each have some bad luck and one after another they got hurt and the doctor says that they cant do that anymore. After they are all hurt though the doctor says that they need to go and have some fun, so all the penguins go and play outside.
It is a great children's book that shows kids to be careful while playing. I think it would be helpful because it shows kids to be careful while playing.
Ever since then, Ive been involved, in one way or another, with the lives of young children. I loved the childrens' innocence and vivid imaginations. At Scholastic, I was fortunate to be given the opportunity to write childrens books. I hope my respect and appreciation for young children shines through in my stories.
